Clearing Out the Garage to Make Space for My Gardening Supplies When you've been living in the same house for more than ten years, things tend to get a little. . . crowded. After all, the basic law of entropy says that things will basically get less and less organized. So the longer you live somewhere, the more disorganized things tend to get. Well, at least, that was the case for me and my garage. Last summer, I decided it was time to do something about the garage. Not really because the garage in and of itself bothered me, mind you, but because I had decided it was finally time to start a vegetable garden in our back yard last summer. And in order to have a vegetable garden, I needed a bunch of different gardening tools and supplies and equipment – tools and supplies and equipment that I didn't have room for in my garage. And despite my tendency to collect things that I don't really need to keep, I actually did have lots of stuff in the garage that I needed to keep, either because I used it sometimes or because I would use it eventually. For instance, the supplies I need for basic car maintenance, like changing my own oil. Those take up space in the garage, but I only need them every couple of months. So I went on a quest to find a place to put all these extra odds and ends in the garage so that I would have room to keep my gardening supplies right there where I needed them for the summer. That's when I came across US Storage Centers Harbor City Self Storage location on 257th. The location is ideal, since it's not too far from where I work, and it's easy for me to get to. And they had lots of other things going for them that made me decide to choose this location when it was ultimately time to clean out the garage to clear space for my gardening supplies. Why I Chose US Storage Centers There are lots of different reasons that I chose US Storage Centers Harbor City Self Storage location. The location was, of course, one factor. Even if I had found a place with better prices (which I doubt is possible!) I wouldn't have driven across town to take advantage of them! But US Storage Centers Harbor City Self Storage would almost be worth driving a long distance to get to, simply because they really do have a lot going for them. For instance, the US Storage Centers Harbor City Self Storage location does have excellent prices. When you're looking for self storage for the long term, like I was, you really don't want to break the bank every month just to pay for a storage unit. I needed to keep those things from my garage in storage for at least a few years, as far as I could see it, and the prices of the reasonably sized units at the Harbor City Self Storage location were definitely a draw for me. Besides good prices, though, the US Storage Centers Harbor City Self Storage location also boasted individually alarmed units. Some of the things I needed to put into storage were rather monetarily valuable, which meant that I wanted to make sure they were well protected. Plenty of cameras and lights along with individually alarmed units means I feel comfortable keeping even more valuable items at the Harbor City Self Storage location. They're probably safer there than they were in my garage, in the first place! |

Why I Use Harbor City Self Storage for My Small Business Paperwork When you start operating a small business out of your garage, you think things will be pretty simple. That is, until the paperwork starts to pile up. If you run your business right, there will be lots and lots of paperwork. There's invoices and expense reports and personnel paperwork if you have any employees and, of course, all the junk you have to keep to file your taxes. It really, really just piles up. Eventually, my wife got sick of all the boxes piling up on top of and underneath the kitchen table that were just full of paperwork. But I wasn't sure what else to do with them! We really didn't have anywhere else in the house to put them! That is, until I figured out that it was a great deal to just get a small storage unit at the nearby US Storage Centers Harbor City Self Storage location one 257th. I just happened to be driving by there one day, and I saw the sign for the US Storage Centers. I was curious as to what a small unit would cost me in monthly rent. I was still operating off of a relatively small business budget, and I didn't want to break the bank to get the bills paid, you know? But I figured, what the heck, I'll just stop in and talk to the manager to hear what he has to say about the situation. So, I did. Boy, was I pleasantly surprised. The manager gave me a tour of the facility, which was all very nice. He explained the security system, which was great. I knew I'd need the paperwork to be pretty secure just because it could contain some sensitive information. I didn't want to even think about the possibility of some future disgruntled employee accessing the essential documents for my business! Anyway, I was also surprised at the prices of the US Storage Centers Harbor City Self Storage units. They had several different smaller unit sizes that I thought would probably be perfect for storing my business's paperwork, and I wouldn't have to pay a fortune to get into a small self storage unit for my business. The Harbor City Self Storage unit would slide quite nicely into my monthly business budget, and it would make my wife really happy to have all that paperwork out from under the kitchen table! Benefits of My Self Storage Unit There are some pretty major benefits to my Harbor City Self Storage unit. For one thing, like I said, it doesn't cost a lot, and it got all that random paperwork out of my house where there wasn't room for it in the first place. For another, it's made it much easier to stay organized. |

Whether you are the scholarship athlete or a “B” student scrapping your way through the communications department, college is likely a pretty cluttered experience for you. With text books, pizza boxes, new friends, huge parking lots and small dormitories, you’re probably up to your ears in a mess after just a few weeks.
