Storing Our Business Files Off Site Running a mid-sized business has always been my dream. I mean, I always wanted to be an entrepreneur but never really wanted to build a huge conglomerate. I want to know my customers and my employees, not just be some faceless CEO, you know? At any rate, midsize business is about where I'm at right now, and I've learned lots of lessons along the way to this spot. One of those lessons was figuring out how to keep old files and records without having them get in the way. My solution: a Marina Del Rey Self Storage unit. That's right. At my business, we take all of the old file storage off site to a self storage unit. There are several reasons I do it this way. Here's why I started using US Storage Centers Marina Del Rey Self Storage: Efficiency First off, I really just think it's more efficient to only keep the things in my office building that I actually need in my office building. What I don't need are the articles of incorporation or the tax return forms that are six years old. I just don't need to have to deal with finding a place to put all that and rearranging that place whenever I hire someone and need another office or something. It's just been much more efficient to store our files off site at our Marina Del Rey Self Storage unit. It's especially efficient around tax time, when I can just box up all the paperwork from the taxes and take a box marked with the year to the Marina Del Rey Self Storage unit. It can sit there for a decade until it's finally time to destroy the stuff, and then I can just get rid of it. For the first few years I was in business, I would actually store all the old tax stuff in our place of business. It was just annoying to have to shuffle it around every few months. Things change so quickly here that we end up needing to use the space we have available for other things, so it was important to me to be able to move things around faster by getting the boxes of files out of the office. |

Marina Del Rey – Storing My Things During a Semester Internship When I got the chance to go to DC for a semester internship in politics, I was elated. The internship was a combination of classes and real world experience that would net me some credits for my Antioch degree and that would look great on my future resume. I couldn't wait to go! The problem was that someone would be taking my room in the house where I roomed with three other girls, and I had to get all my stuff out. I really didn't have time to take it halfway across the country to get it home before my internship, so I decided to just put it into Marina Del Rey Self Storage at a location called US Storage Centers. I came across the Marina Del Rey Self Storage location one day when I was just driving by, and it sparked the idea of just leaving my stuff in storage. I thought it would be expensive, though, so I wasn't sure I could swing it. I am a poor college student, after all! But when I went to talk to the Marina Del Rey Self Storage manager, I found out that their prices are surprisingly affordable. Plus, the manager gave me some great tips on how to pack my furniture into the storage unit that would save me a ton of space. For instance, he told me to break down my bed so it wouldn't take up as much room. It seems obvious now, but then, I had no idea that it was an important thing to do to conserve storage space! Anyway, I ended up taking out a lease for a small self storage unit. I got a good deal on the first couple of months' worth of rent, which was nice because I actually would only need the unit for three months. At first I was worried that renting a Marina Del Rey Self Storage unit would be like renting an apartment, where you have to sign a lease for a certain number of months at a time. That's not how it was at all, though. The unit was on a month to month lease, so whenever I needed to get out of the contract, I could – just as long as the month we were currently on was paid for! It was a pretty sweet deal. So, I got my friends to help me pack up my furniture and the few other belongings I wouldn't be taking to DC with me, and I took them over to my new Marina Del Rey Self Storage unit by US Storage Centers. |

One of those water front paradises lining the Pacific Coast, Marina Del Ray might not exactly feel like a paradise to those laboring through college at any of the nearby universities. It can feel disorganized and cluttered, and this is common for anyone going through the college experience. Too many books, too many papers, and not enough space could characterize your college experience, and a Marina Del Ray self storage facility or Marina Del Ray storage unit could be the thing to solve your problems.
