Self Storage for the Kids' Important Papers When you have kids, it's hard to decide which papers are most important for you to keep when it comes to schoolwork and such. Not only do you want to keep some examples of their schoolwork from year to year, though, but you also want to keep important records, like vaccination records and dental records and school records and such. Well, when you're living in a rather small space with three kids, that paperwork can really end up taking up some of your valuable room! So how do I overcome this overcrowding of space and keep my kids' important documents and precious papers together and organized for the future? I use a Stanton self storage unit at a place called US Storage Centers. It wasn't until my first child went to school and I had to dig through piles and piles of paperwork to find her vaccination records that I hit on the idea of using a Stanton Self Storage unit for things like that. Plus, I knew that my kindergartner was going to soon be bringing interesting papers and projects home from school that I would want to keep to show her in the future. That meant keeping even more papers! I talked to a friend who actually used a US Storage Centers Stanton Self Storage unit for her business documents, and she suggested that I check them out for my kids' papers, as well. My friend said that US Storage Centers Stanton Self Storage had some of the best prices in town, and that they also had good customer service. I wasn't sure how expensive the storage unit would be, but I was willing to at least check it out! So, that's just what I did. The next day, I headed over to the Stanton Self Storage location to talk to the manager about what they had available. I learned that they had several different unit sizes that might work for me, including a smaller unit that was about the size of a closet. Really, I had wished for just an extra closet at home for a while, and I figured that this would be just about perfect for storing paperwork. I rented a small unit then and there. The prices were so reasonable that it really wouldn't add anything extra to our budget to speak of, and it seemed like such a great idea! Then, I did some shopping to find a tall file cabinet with several drawers. I could use one drawer for each child, and then have one left over for all of the family documents, like tax returns we still had to keep and things like that. |

Stanton – An Affordable Storage Solution for My Staging Business Starting a home staging business was a really fun and interesting process for me. It was great to figure out exactly what I would need for my home staging business and to pick out all the furniture and things I could use for my clients. The key for a stager is to invest in affordable pieces that work well in any situation, and that's what I wanted to do. The problem was that I couldn't figure out where I was going to put everything. See, part of the point of going into the home staging business for me was that I didn't really need to have an office space or a warehouse or anything. I did the marketing and meetings right in my own home. Of course, I did need somewhere to put my furniture, and since I didn't have room in my actual house, I started checking out Stanton self storage locations that would be perfect for my staging business. As I was checking out different options, I came across the US Storage Centers Stanton Self Storage location. They turned out to be perfect for what I needed. The manager said they'd even worked with several businesses before and had some great deals for business renters. One of the things that really sold me on the US Storage Centers Stanton Self Storage location was that the manager of the location was really helpful and knowledgeable about how to store furniture and how to get the most out of furniture storage. It was great to be able to rely on a professional to give me great, useable tips on how to store my staging furniture so that it would stay in top condition when it wasn't being used. Here are some of the best storage tips the Stanton Self Storage manager gave me that help me keep my staging furniture in great shape to this day: Protect the Metal: This was something I definitely hadn't thought of, but protected any metal on furnishings with a light coat of oil or some rust protectant can keep it from rusting if the air is damp. Metal doesn't have to be sitting in water to rust. Humid air is enough to do it if the metal is exposed long enough. Protect Wood, Too: I also hadn't thought of the effects moisture in the air could have on wooden furniture. But the manager of the Stanton Self Storage location had. He told me that it was a good idea to also lightly oil the wood on my furniture to help protect it from moisture in the air. That could help prevent the furniture from minor warping due to high humidity because the oil would lock moisture out of the wood. |

When you are looking for a Stanton storage unit, it is likely because you are moving your child off into a dorm or apartment for the semester or for the summer. These rooms can be relatively smaller than what your student is used to – and some of them can even be smaller than the Stanton self storage units themselves. Whether your son or daughter needs the secure storage of a Stanton storage facility for personal or business use, these Stanton storage units can prove invaluable for them as they take on the work of the spring or fall. Stanton self storage locations will then double their usability as they become even more important for keeping your student organized during the quieter summer months.
