Piscataway Self Storage

Piscataway, New Jersey is a township located in Middlesex County and encompasses 18.8 square miles of land and 0.2 square miles of water.  Piscataway is bordered by nine municipalities in Middlesex, Union, and Somerset County. This city is considered part of the Trenton-Princeton-New Brunswick metropolitan area. Piscataway is the 5th oldest municipality in the state and one of the earliest settlements along the Atlantic coast.  Piscataway is located within 35 miles of New York City.

The unofficial sections of Piscataway include Bound Brook Heights, New Brunswick Highlands, Lake Nelson, Randolphville, Arbor, New Market, North Shelton, Fellowship Farm, and Possumtown.

Piscataway is home to several historical villages and areas including part of Camp Kilmer and the Livingston and Busch campuses of Rutgers University. The historical Quaker Village of Quibbletown is located in the New Market section.

 In 2008, Money magazine ranked Piscataway number 23 out of 100 for the top places to live in the United States. 

Piscataway was one of the earliest settlements.  This area was first settled by the Quakers and Baptist who left the Puritan colony in New Hampshire in 1666. This city was officially incorporated in 1798.
