Assists with oversight of all key aspects of development and management business. Heavy emphasis on site acquisition, acquisition of existing self-storage properties and debt/equity financing of all activities.

Partner, Construction & Development.
Over 30 years in commercial and industrial construction. Licensed contractor for over 20 years.
Completed over 100 self storage projects as a contractor, working with architects and owners on design and value engineering.
Primary focus is the Eastern United States expansion with new development projects and acquisition of existing facilities.

 C. Jamie Alai
Partner, Vice President of Development since 1993.
Over 18 years of real estate experience with heavy emphasis in feasibility analysis, property entitlements, site acquisitions, project design and construction.
Primary focus on entitlement / zoning / permitting process and all aspects of development / construction process.
Prior experience/employment with RAR Anaheim Partners (Partnership with Rockefeller & Associates Realty, L.P.), McKellar Properties and Occidental Land Research.

Partner, Chief Financial Officer of Westport, joined in January 2005.
Over 15 years of experience in accounting, finance and taxation, primarily in the Real Estate industry, with a focus on Real Estate Investment Trusts, Homebuilders and Land Developers.
Oversees all aspects of finance, accounting and management operations.
Prior experience includes Kenneth Leventhal & Company, Ernst & Young Real Estate Group and Hewitt Associates.

Over 10 years experience in both domestic and international Finance and Accounting for public and private companies from manufacturing to service related industries.
Oversees all aspects of facility management and operations for over 2.5 million square feet of storage space.
Prior experience includes the Centennial Corporation; St. John Knits, Inc.; Exult; and Hewitt Associates.
