To make sure that your move will go as seamless as possible, we wanted to make sure that you're armed with these must-know tips: Have plenty of supplies. You'll need boxes (probably more than you think), strong plastic packing tape to close up the boxes securely, scissors, garbage bags and markers. Use unprinted newsprint (newspaper can stain your items), packing paper or bubble wrap. Check with your local pharmacy for boxes, if you can't buy new ones. Most pharmacies have a lot of boxes handy. You can also go to the grocery store for banana boxes. They are good size, the top fits down completely over the bottom and they have handles! Use your luggage. Fill luggage and duffle bags with clothing, towels, or anything that won’t leak or be damaged if not held straight up. You can use your luggage for things you’ll need handy + eliminate the need of too many additional boxes. You can save money by using paper plates between the dishes They cushion them wonderfully and you can still use them afterwards.
