::: I have to ride along with the movers on the truck. If you’re going through the hassle of Google-ing, interviewing movers and more over- paying for it, you want to make sure your Duran Duran records are traveling safely. And what better way to know they’ll be safe in the truck than riding along? But can you do that? … I’m afraid it’s not possible! HERE'S WHAT: Not only do you not have any control over the truck since you’re not the driver, but it’s actually a liability for you to be on a truck if you are not an employee of the moving company. I know it’s frustrating because your treasures should be treated accordingly, but there’s no way any decent moving company will let you ride along in the truck. So… TRUTH -or- MYTH? The answer is Myth!! Commercial trucks are not considered passenger-type vehicles and they are not insured as such. They can’t let you tag along. Best way is for one car to drive in the front for guidance, and a 2nd car behind, for piece of mind.
