You and I both know that moving is as as tough as it gets. Much harder than we think of it at first. It adds additional stress to our relationships, unnecessary tension, it takes away sleep and not to mention- it brings about physical exhaustion and pain. If that's not enough, add doubt and worry into the mix, and you have the killer recipe. Doubt and worry, because there's this uncertainty lingering around, this feeling of not knowing if we're doing everything right, or if we're taking care of everything the way it's supposed to. Oh and... Did we leave anything behind? That's OK though, it happens to all of us! What you can do, is take all the tips you find here weekly, apply them to your move, and see how much help they will bring you. Turn on some music as you're packing. Listening to your favorite music will make the process more enjoyable, and it will definitely go by faster. Faster's good! Tape your "Open First" boxes with red duct tape. To prevent injuries to your back, when you lift Anything, lift with your knees as opposed to your back. Remember to turn off and disconnect all of the utilities from the old home, before heading to the new one. Keep on hand the power cords for your phones, laptops, alarm clocks, and other gadgets you'll need to use right away. Pack heavy items in your rolling suitcases too.
