Grilled salmon is delicious, but as the cooler months approach, there is nothing like an indoor-grilled salmon as the perfect health-conscious lunch or dinner. Best of all, it even collects fat with its ridges, so your meal becomes even healthier! Easy to prepare, our recipe shouldn’t take you more than 20 minutes. Salmon is one of the most sought-after fish, due to its impeccable and undeniable health benefits. Rich in protein and B-vitamins, salmon can also help you control your weight and blood pressure. As a longer-term reward, eating salmon regularly may reduce your risk of heart disease and protect your brain health. So enjoy the below recipe - inspired by Hawaiian Marinade - because not only is it delicious and light, it's healthy for you too! Supplies: Grill Pan Ingredients: 4 Salmon Filet(s) *organic recommended* Olive Oil Salt & Pepper 1/4 cup Soy Sauce 1 tsp Grated Ginger 1 clove Garlic 1 tbsp Brown Sugar 1 tbsp Honey Preparation: Starting with the Salmon Filet(s), season the meat-side with salt and pepper. Apply generously and let it sit for a few minutes. Meanwhile, heat the grill pan on the stove on med heat. Add a small amount of Butter to ensure the Salmon won’t stick to the pan. Add the Salmon Filets, season-side-down, to the grill, and increase the heat to medium-high. Let them cook for approximately 4 minutes. Flip the Filets and, again, let them cook for 4 minutes. Remove the Filets from the grill and let them sit for a few minutes. Meanwhile, mix together Soy Sauce, Ginger, Garlic, Brown Sugar, and Honey in a separate bowl until thoroughly blended.
