I need to buy lunch for the moving crew. Admit it, you thought about it and probably did it too. You’re moving. You got lots of stuff (heavy stuff), so you hire 1 or 2 guys to do the heavy lifting for you. It’s noon. Time to put something in the spare tire, but you’d feel bad eating while those guys are working. So you figure: ‘I should buy them lunch’. But... Is that necessary? This moving MYTH has been around for a while and it’s very popular. Originally, it generated from the idea that if you’re going to “reward” your friends with some food and drinks, they’ll help you move. First things first, movers are Not your friends. They are professionals doing the job you PAID them to complete. While buying them lunch is a very nice gesture, it’s certainly not necessary, and they don’t expect it! In fact, many movers will prefer to work until the job is done and then, grab a bite to eat and relax. So… Truth or Myth? This one’s a total MYTH.
