Our facility is located off the corner of Royal Avenue and Haven Avenue. Grace Brethren Elementary School is just to the north of us. To the west of us, we have Hollow Hills Fundamental School and Hillside Middle School. To the south, we have Grace Brethren High School. Finally, to the east of us, there is Berylwood Elementary School. With all these schools surround us, making easy access to your storage unit if you have a child attending one of these fine schools.
In addition, a little farther north, you’ll find Rancho Simi Community park, so you could pick up your kids, drop some stuff off at your storage unit, and spend an afternoon in the park all without putting five miles on your car.
If you are coming from the Ronald Reagan Freeway, you can take exit 24 onto Erringer Rd, pass Los Angeles Ave and then turn left onto Royal Ave.
If you are coming from the Moorpark Freeway, take exit 17 onto Olsen Road and follow it until it turns into Madera Road. From there, drive past Sinaloa Golf Course and turn right at the second stop light onto Royal Avenue.

Staff has been super friendly and easy to work with. Facility is clean and new. So far I would highly recommend US storage. Prices are fair compared to other storage facilities. The app to open the gate doesn’t always connect but that’s not a big deal.

The manager, Sherry as well as the assistant manager, Victor were excellent. There was a very scary incident that occurred last night at about 8 o’clock as my Movers were putting stuff in to one of my storage units. A man who was renting a storage unit adjacent to mine, pulled a gun on my Movers. We called the police and let them know, and then my Movers as the victims, decided to press charges because of the gun being drawn and pointed at them. The police have a shirt us that the man will be going to jail.
Sherry absolutely professional, and very caring at the same time. She assured me that he would not be allowed back in to the premises. She also told me if there was anything else that she could do to let her know. Your staff at that location in Simi Valley is excellent. Thank you.

I was very impressed with the facility and the incredible responsiveness and friendliness of your staff. Both Victor and Sherry were great, but Sherry in particular really went above and beyond my expectations of excellent consumer support. She not only helped my wife and I find the best spot for our stuff, but also was readily available, warm, professional, and anticipated many of our questions. I felt the manager was rude, disrespectful, and had no interest in my business. It was really obvious when he literally hung up on me while I requested to cancel my reservation. I had planned to return the next month to rent the storage unit I just cancelled, but that won't be happening.
I think it's really shitty the way I was treated as a potential new customer who made a simple mistake online by accidentally selected "renting" vs "reserving". That aside, what I can't accept is that even though I never stepped foot on the property, signed any rental agreement paperwork, AND tried calling your office repeatedly to cancel, the manager showed zero compassion in gouging me for the entire month's rent. Someone please explain to me how that's fair.
I've started several companies in my life and being nice in the face of customer dissatisfaction goes a long way. Treating potential customers like trash won't get you far, and I've already shared my experience with several neighbors looking for local storage options.
I can't say I enjoyed being screwed by your company, but I am glad I discovered how you handle your customers before I trusted you with my belongings.

Very nice facility. But extremely over the top administratively. Small things like they want a picture of your driver license. Okay , that normal, but then they pull out some knock off ipad and want another picture of you as well. Even to drive a car they only want one picture. But this place needs two. Just a little weird. I signed everything on line but you just have to redo all the paperwork in person because on line it’s a DocuSign. So you choose your initials and signature from a few different choices and click to enter all electronically. But that didn’t count for them because even thou they gave me the option to choose my signature they said that will not count. I need to physically move my hand to make my signature. That’s fine but then don’t waste my time and give me the option to do it electronically. I just bought a house, that electric signature works for 99% of real documents, except the notary one has to be wet ink. But for a storage unit rental it’s not good. Also if you don’t put your middle name on any documents ( because first and last are excepted everywhere else) then you will have to start over from scratch.

Well, I just finished moving my stuff in and the process wasn't bad and the gentleman at the front was nice and very helpful. The rating is for the fact that it is NOT made clear that you would have to purchase their own lock instead of bringing yours. I was informed that I may not have read the fine print (I did, and double checked) and it sucks because that was $18 I wasn't expecting to pay on top of the total price and it also doesn't state that all payments are to be made on the first, so I had to pay $60 for the pro rating of 4 days and would have needed to make my next payment in 5 days after. The website is really good at reeling you in, and if it wasn't for my current position of needing a secure facility to store my stuff for a couple months, I wouldn't have opted for this location.
Another thing I would like to point out is the insanely long gate code, which, depending on your vehicle you have to step out to punch in the numbers, so they suggested I download a poorly rated and poorly functioning app for a keyless entry. The app let me in, but didn't let me out, so here I am squatting in the pouring rain trying to key in an 8 digit code.

I've had one of the best move in and renting experiences with US storage. From the initially contact to move in process was amazing. There is an option to do the entire lease online to make the move in easy. Not small paperwork. ENTIRE LEASE. As I was packing . was looking for a small storage room in Simi Valley but the ones that I found were a little above my budget..so I finally went to US Storage in Simi Valley and I talk to the most wonderful manager named Sherry and she was so warm,professional and Kind..she told me that at the moment they didn't have a room like I was looking for but she asked me for my phone number and promised me to call in case a room become available..in less of a week later I got a call from Victor who told me that they have the room that I need it, and reserved for me..I went as soon as I could to check it out, and it was perfect, and with the help of the wonderful Sherry the process of paying was so smooth and I'm happy with the clean facilities and mostly for the customer service the US Storage Center provide..it should be an example for other companies..Thanks Sherry and Victor for your help..

My experience was great, sherry I believe was the staff members name she preformed exceptional work ethics and customer service. Her office was clean and organized along with the storage facility itself and her vibe was welcoming and knowledgeable about any question you may ask.She even went as far as describing how the owner whom had kidney cancer donated money to this foundation for cure research and although he lost his battle they still continue to raise money, she was very persuasive and managed to get a $30 donation from me. Lastly, she followed up upon me loading up my new unit to ensure I was satiated and didn’t have any further questions that arose.

Great experience for the rental process. Sherry (site mgr) was very friendly and extremely helpful for the process. Sherry showed me the different units and she was very knowledgeable w/ any questions or concerns I had. Then she quickly processed everything and got me on my way. She and US Storage is a very professional business. During this "abnormal" time that is occurring now Sherry was great in making sure that my needs were met and I got everything I needed to ensure I was satisfied. The experience exceeded my expectations. US Storage in Simi Valley is very clean and secure. I was surprised to find that every unit is alarmed and monitored (via a display monitor). In addition to the units being alarmed there are strategically placed security cameras present throughout the facility. The manager also lives on site for added security. During my visit I also learned that there are several individuals that have been very long term tenants. A good sign of the operation and security. Another bonus to the facility layout, it is conducive to pulling a trailer or using large truck and having sufficient room to to manuver around the driveways.

My experience was good. Guillermo was very helpful in assisting me with choosing the right storage space and with the paperwork. However, I noticed an error the next day. The price I was quoted for the storage space, and which I relied on in choosing your company to store my things, is not the price I was given at the store when I was there. That price was higher. The manager, Sherry, was so nice and accomdating. She took the time to show us a number of different storage locations at the facility. She didn't rush us to make a decision. We went to six other facilities and Sherry at US Storage was the only one that provided us with a written quote. This facility was the only one that allowed you to access your storage from 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM 365 days a year which was very important to us.

I don't remember her name now, but the lady that helped me secure a storage space the same day I called was so kind and warm. She and her coworker stayed past hours to help me with getting acquainted to the storage unit and how to use it and gave us very generous access for the first couple days to make sure we can get everything moved quickly, which is what we needed. The space was clean, no sight of trash/debris anywhere, and seemed to be very secure. I was glad that we got the size we needed on the first floor.

Awesome! This Storage Center was recommended to me by people that have storage there and by former tenants. And I am not disappointed one bit by their recommendation. The management staff was very friendly, professional, and understanding. The units are clean, well lit, and it appears to have a great security system, unlike other storage companies I've had units at before. The use of the free moving truck was a lifesaver and worksaver as I am a disabled person who has to rely on help. They have unit rent specials which can help on a fixed income. They also support kidney cancer and treatment and match any donation, dollar to dollar. We were in a jam. We needed to find someplace for the next morning. We found Sherry and she reserved the right size that night on the computer. The very next morning, I showed up, with the movers at opening. Sherry got things squared away in record time. John was super knowledgeable and took time to talk about his truck, like one I was looking at buying. He was helpful about the storage, and kind on a personal level as well. Amazing. Things couldn't have worked out better. As a matter of fact,I told Sherry I was waiting for the other shoe to fall, things went that well. Sherry reminded me to think positively. How about that. Moving is so stressful. It was nice to get a booster on being positive. That's the kind of people that run this facility. Lots of cameras, double walls, redundant gate codes, no sneeking, code in, code out or alarm goes off! Excellent all the way around. So grateful for them.

Very friendly staff. Both employees were able to guide me to a storage unit that fit my needs at an affordable price. The driveway is very accessible for a 15-20' moving truck which made it easy for me to maneuver in and out with the load that I had

The task of renting a storage unit was made very easy by Sherry and Evelyn. Even though the internet was down, Evelyn handled it all in stride. She was very respectful of my time and suggested I return a bit later so I would not be inconvenienced by being forced to wait outside while she showed the current customer the unit they were renting. When I came back this weekend with questions on the rental agreement, Sherry took great care of me.

The facility is very well kept,and monitored. Its very safe, and you have the piece of mind you're belongings are also safe. I highly recommend them!

From the very first day I came to inquire about storage pricing and availability the office manager Sherry and also Evelyn have been very sweet, polite and accommodating to my needs and concerns. So far, I am very happy I chose US Storage to store my belongings for the time I will need and if future needs arise would most likely choose US Storage again.
