People running facility were always on phone talking to mom. Gates were not maintained. Had to use entrance to exit which required going into building and around because inside yard does not have a gate key post to enter code. US Storage increased storage fee 100%. Discovered your company uses algorithm that determines quarterly rate assessments. Will not recommend this facility to anyone.

Overall facilities are nice. But unfortunately not the best experience with getting in and out of facilities. My code would not work as it was cancelled prior to the end of my lasts paid month. I had wait for hours on my moving day to gain access. Called customer service no help! They assumed I had not paid my bill, which I repeatedly assured them I was current and had the confirmation email to prove it. I was told I had to wait for location staff to arrive. They were supposed to open by 9:30 but did not staff arrive until almost ten.

This was a temporary solution that worked out quite well. The price was fair, the property well organized but not without problems.
One night, after retrieving some items, the gate would not raise.
We tried the code over and over and called all the phone numbers listed for "help" finally we pushed it up by hand as high as we could and squeezed the car under it....not fun!

Overall, I am really pleased with the quality of site, the helpfulness of the staff. My concern is that after a few years, the rent on our locker became higher than a fresh start renting the same sized locker. So, we moved from one unit to another and are saving $50/month. Same sized unit.

Rented first space last winter and added another in June. All good. the only thing that would be nice is if the lav at the space is keyed to your code so you can use it when the office is not staffed. Staff is great and the site is better than our previous storage space. I have recomended others to US.

Sometimes I think that after you get into a business/rental place they’ve got you so they don’t have to really go out of their way to do extra things for you as a renter. From day one, the staff at US Storage Centers has always been nothing but super helpful and nice. Even after I got my gate number messed up, they were so patient and willing to help me work the problem out. Now I have the pass number tattooed on my forehead so I will never forget, lol!

I reserved a outside space and prepaid, but when I got to the facility the lady wouldn’t rent me the space for my enclosed trailer that I’m renting to own because I don’t have paper work saying I own it, but it’s registered to me and the company.

Storage is fine from a cleanliness standpoint. Auto-Pay online does not work for 2 units....only works for one. When I asked for a 2nd unit to be physically nearby my 1st unit, I got on to the same floor \ wing but easily 100-200' away and yet there are clearly numerous un-rented units of the same size literally across the aisle 5' away.

Nosy, rude someone tries to break into our unit messed up the lock the key would no longer work, when we tried to get it off the lady came up screaming we can't cut our lock off, we asked what we were supposed to do then and was told she didn't know and was told it was our problem, constant harassment to the author party on my actual, I had rented there prior to this time and had no issues and we had rented at your lake elmo location no issues as well, this time around your rep was upset due to the fact she knew my auth party was homeless, I rented the unit specifically for him to keep his belongings in the even mentioned to me she had seen him around , he was no danger to anyone just needing a safe place for his stuff and have not ever experienced such treatment before and just want your employees to understand that just because someone is homeless doesn't mean they don't have rights or feelings as well as those of us not experienceing those troybles

Your staff doesn't listen, pay attention to what's being said and what they are doing. Billing is still not resolved from the start and a blue lock is on my unit without any form of communication first. Now I'm hearing your side with fees assessed but I'm calling you? Customer service stinks - person on phone when I was trying to get a refund that wasn't my fault..was condescending and rude
Communication stinks - I filled out an intent to vacate. Vacated. and just received another one. I called and left a message with the actual location (WBL, MN) and called the 1-800 #.
Forced to pay for insurance. should be a choice. Not mandatory.
the online vs in person 50% off is confusing and makes no sense
I waited to talk to someone when the store opened at 9:30am
9:40a and no one was there. Hated it. Moved my stuff elsewhere

I’ve been a customer for several years. Your model of constantly raising the rent is predatory. You rent comparable units to new customers at significantly lower rates. In time they will be paying much more also. You count on the fact that people would rather pay a small increase than move their belongs, so you do it gradually. I’m not happy .

The employees at US storage center made the process of finding and reserving the correct storage space for our needs super easy. I used this US Storage center in White Bear Lake while my daughter moved out from one apartment till she found another apartment. The office personnel were kind and accommodating, the facility is clean, the climate controlled unit was affordable, the entrance and elevators are large and located conveniently to access 2nd floor, large push carts at entrance for use, they prorated monthly charge for only the days used for the month I moved out of the unit. I'll definitely use this facility again in the future. I highly recommend this place!

Every thing is clean and just what we needed. We only wish we could have use one of the storeage areas on the first floor and closer to the door. It seems like there are many open with company locks on them.

Yury was incredibly friendly and showed up early because of a mistake I made on where to go, boy was I impressed! I’m very happy we went here instead of where we had planned. It’s very well lit and clean with a great security system, I don’t doubt the safety of my items any point in time!

Pretty much everything is good except there's no access to electricity. I would pay for an outlet or two as I need to spend quite a bit of time in my storage room.

The establishment is secure and very clean. The staff are knowledgeable about what they're selling to the public, and in general seem like nice people. Everything is put into perspective when you walk out the unloading garage, and see other public storage units. It's a no brainer!!
