I was happy at U.S. Storage, but I needed a bigger storage unit, and the male employee claimed that there were no units available, so I rented a unit at Public Storage. When I started moving my belongings from U.S. Storage to Pubic Storage, the female employee asked me why I was moving? Turns out U.S. Storage had several empty units in the size I was looking for, but the male employee was simply too lazy to check the computer system to find that information out--and just said they had no units in the size I was looking for. I was quite disappointed that this happened, because I live only a couple of blocks from U.S. Storage.

I had nothing to do with the stuff so I appreciate your taking care of them. So far, so good. The only thing I'm not pleased with is the change of closing hours right about the time I started renting.
I chose you specifically due to the proximity of my home and being able to store items needed to come in-and-out on a usual basis due to my job.
I often can't get there by the 6:00 closing time since many of my jobs end about that time. I do understand the reasons why but it has become quite inconvenient for my particular situation.

Not necessarily your fault, but this was the sketchiest neighborhood. I found several people camped out watching people coming and going, clearly living in their cars in the parking lot. The attendant guy did ask them to leave. There also was a fully cloaked face covered individual who was standing at the parking entrance staring in the direction of the entrance. I didn’t feel safe leaving anything in my car and tried to load everything in one go. Overall negative experience, but I didn’t lose any property

The storage experience that I had at the facility was phenomenal. They were patient kind and made sure to understand what type of storage I was going to need. They helped me find the perfect 10 x 10 space that fits all of my needs. The answered all of our questions and offered us frozen water after the rental process. Such a wonderful team.!

not great. The price increases feel disingenuous and like a trap. The company knows it’s difficult to move out a full storage locker so they can easily do monthly price increases.

Dishonesty on the incentive to sign up. The original offer included a discount for the first month was never applied. When I reminded them, I was given a less generous discount and was treated like they were doing me a favor. People in storage need often don’t have the ability to delay those needs to shop around, and you know this, so why not squeeze every penny you can from them?

When I rented the unit, it was for convenience of location. Price was fairly competitive, but location was everything for me. Once I established a few months of storage with the company, the hours changed significantly. Weekday operating hours used to be from 6am to 9pm but they changed it to 8am to 5pm, making it impossible to visit if you work during those hours. The roll up door leading into the main facility doesn't work and the elevators are often not working. The facility manager and employees look like they don't care. Soon as I find a new place to live I'm pulling my stuff out of here and will NOT be recommending anyone I know to use it.

Everybody's polite and professional with an occasional rude comment here and there toward the end of the day, which is totally understandable based upon the fact that they've been dealing with people all day and maybe I'm just imagining things. Renting from you has become ridiculously expensive and it's kind of a scam in regard to the insurance debacle that you have us do. But business is business!

Our storage unit was broken into. The customer service that followed was very poor. It was clear that storage units being broken into at that specific location was relatively common, and the problem was known among staff.

I havent had any problems yet, but my friend who also has a storage there, has had several problems. The worst being he got locked in a stairwell, during regular open hours, and when he called the office from the stairwell, he was told to go out a fire door, which he did, and got stuck outside in a fenced area that had no exit. It was a huge fiasco. All because what he was storing, was too tall to fit in the elevator!

So far, I have been very impressed with the service. The facilities seem to be very secure, the protocols for getting in and out are strong. The employees have been friendly and helpful. The quality of the storage facilities more than justifies the costs. Will continue to do business with this facility as long as these standards are maintained.
