This would easily be a 5 star review, with one exception. On the plus side: Helpful, friendly on-site customer service, clean, well-lit facilities, and high security standards, including individual entry codes for gates/elevators. However, I can't ignore the recent 85% rental rate hike that I was hit with. Luckily, Cara there was great and helped me save money by finding a smaller unit near my original one at a more reasonable rate. Although I would've preferred not to have to transfer my things to a different unit, it helped. Overall, I would recommend this facility for the other reasons I cited. However, be aware that rates can apparently change dramatically. I understand that they're reviewed annually. As a sidenote, their units do require a specific type of lock. They carry these locks on-site (for about $20, I think?), so don't waste money buying a padlock elsewhere, like I did.

Customer service is great the grounds are clean everytime I'm there there's enough carts don't have to look for a cart or wait in line to be able to get into my storage unit because there's so many people in the hallways living in their storage unit this place isn't like that...

I have been happy until the “HUGE” rate increase. For the cost there should be help available all during open hours. Today if the one person working was helping someone, they had to lock the door so others couldn’t get in. One person is not enough for the cost of the units and the size. Also did not open office until 10AM? I needed to change my unit from 3rd floor to 2nd floor and the staff did not know how to unlock the elevator so we could go breathe 2 floors. We had to take everything down and out of the elevator from the 3 rd floor. Then put in a code for the 2nd floor to get there. Then back to the ground floor and use a 3rd floor code.

Kept very clean, plenty of units, access from 6 am to 10pm 7 days a week. Secure storage with locks that can't be chopped off with a bolt cutter, wide hallways. Large doors. All around a rather well put together and we'll kept facility and the staff I have interacted with so far are quite friendly and helpful should you need help with anything not including moving your stuff into your unit. 5 stars 🤩

I rented a storage unit at West Coast self storage less than a week ago and what I expected to be a grueling experience actually turned out to be pleasent! The gal from Bulgaria was so good at her job she had me out of there in no time with fair discounts added to an already good price. She was professional, courteous, efficient and fun. The man that was there stayed back and let her perform her duties but also added some suggestions on the deal, even getting me a unit right next to my daughter's. I have already recommended West Coast to several friends! I am satisfied that my belongings are safe AND at an affordable price!

Kevin was absolutely amazing. He even called to check and make sure I was still coming because I was late. He even saved me a trip by allowing me to return my uhaul there. I think Kevin’s excellent service was the only part of my move that went well! Thank you for taking some stress away for me Kevin!! Also- the facility itself is amazing. So clean, up to date, love the dollies and the timed doors. Everything about this experience was great and I will refer anyone I know looking for storage and truck rentals to Kevin!

Friendly and helpful staff! They have absolutely everything you need when it comes to storage! From boxes to Uhauls, this is by far the best facility in Vancouver! I stored my belongings for several months in their secure and temperature regulated unit, and let me just say West Coast Self Storage off Padden Parkway provided an easy and convenient experience every step of the way. Highly recommend!

I haven’t moved in yet, but the process in obtaining a storage facility was easy and quick! The woman who helped me was informative and friendly and took the time to show me around. This company seems super clean and they have carts to help with moving things to your storage space!

I liked being able to reserve my uhaul truck online as well as checking in online. It made the entire process smooth and efficient. The Only bump on the process was making my reservation through the Uhaul site and ordering matress covers. The storage facility does not sell Uhaul mattress covers and I had to pick them up at a separate location. Agent at storage facility was extremely friendly and helpful.

Super clean, very secure, by far the nicest storage place in town and the management staff is helpful and so nice! The Nordstrom of self-storage.

This is one of the best storage facilities around. Its secured, well-maintained, affordable, temperature controlled and dont forget the flat carts, makes moving stuff in and out a lot easier. Mostly, hats off to Kevin!! his outstanding customer service and friendly approach makes this place top notch in my book. THANKS KEVIN!!
