Staying organized while you're on a budget can be a bit of a challenge. You may find that your shoes are scattered all over your closet or your missing the back to your favorite earring. This can become increasingly stressful and difficult to manage. We put together 15 unique hacks that you can put together yourself to ensure that your home and life can stay organized, without hurting your wallet. You'll think twice before ever throwing anything away again. And best of all? Some of these items work as cute decorations as well. Small jars. If you regularly buy small candles or jam think carefully before you throw away those jars. These can make a stylish and affordable way of storing cotton swabs or other small bathroom essentials. Shoe Boxes. Consider shoe boxes or bank-check boxes for larger storage solutions. These can be great to put away items that you don't regularly use or that are out of season since shoe boxes can easily fit under the bed. Plastic Caddies. Caddies can be super useful in tight spaces. You can use them in your shower to organize your hair and body products or you can use them to confine all your cleaning supplies to one spot so you don't have to keep switching products. Fridge Bins. No need to spend a fortune on fancy storage bins to organize your fridge. Instead just grab a handful of plastic bins from your local dollar store and label them accordingly, such as fruits, condiments, vegetables, cheeses, etc. Ice Cube Trays. Ice cube trays can make it easy to store a lot of small, but different accessories. You can keep one in your bathroom for hair clips or hair ties, and you can keep one at your desk for stables and clips. Hooks for Hangers. Need more closet space? Try using hooks around the house for regular items. You can keep one by the door so you can grab your jacket on the way out or you can keep a few by your closet to have tomorrow's outfit easy to reach. You can even keep a few by your dresser for necklaces or belts. Wine Rack. Use a wine rack to store magazines and newspapers. Not only will this look super cute and chic, it will save a ton of space. Pot-lid Holder. Use these to make the most of vertical space behind any cabinet door. You can sort your pot lid holders by small to large so you can easily find the correct pot-lid the next time you make soup. Piggy Banks. They aren't just for kids. Find some adult-style coin banks to confine all your lose change that lying around. Gift Ribbons. Received a present recently? Instead of throwing away the ribbon, use them to tie up bedroom sheets so they stay organized in your closet. Three-Tiered Wire Basket. Hang these from the ceiling in empty corner spaces and you will instantly have extra storage space, not to mention cute decorations. Space Bags. Use space bags to store clothes that don't fit the season or are for rare occasions, or any extra blankets and duvets. Shrink-wrap them and then hide them under your bed. Magnetized Knife Rack. Mount a magnetized knife rack to a wall in your kitchen so you'll have more counter space. You can even use this for commonly used tools - such as screwdrivers or wrenches - and keep in your garage. Travel Pillbox. When you're not traveling (or if you have an extra), use a pillbox to stash earrings, rings and small necklaces that you don't use often. This is great because you can store this under your bed or on a top cabinet and not have to worry about losing anything. Or you can use this for regular wear so that you can just grab it the next time you're going a trip. Wooden Peg Racks. These are great to hang your hair brushes or even a blow drier.
