When everything you're storing needs to stay cool and dry, this is the Raleigh facility built for it: US Storage Centers – Raleigh – Fox Rd offers 927 indoor climate-controlled storage units — the largest climate-controlled selection we offer anywhere in North Carolina — at 7505 Fox Rd in North Raleigh. Every unit, from a 5x5 locker to a 10x30 family-home space, sits inside a clean, access-controlled building with 24/7 video recording. A move, a downsize, a renovation — whatever brought you here, the moments of your life stay well kept while life sorts itself out.

What storage units does the Fox Rd facility offer?

Fox Rd is 100% indoor, 100% climate-controlled — 927 units across twelve size variants:

5x5 and 5x10 for boxes, seasonal items, and studio contents
5x15 and 10x5 for narrow furniture and one-bedroom overflow
10x10 (our most popular, 272 units) for a one- to two-bedroom apartment
10x15 and 10x20 for two- to three-bedroom homes
10x23, 10x25, and 10x30 for large households and business inventory

Not sure which size fits? A 5x10 typically holds a studio apartment's boxes and small furniture; a 10x15 takes a full two-bedroom home including appliances; and the 10x25 and 10x30 spaces handle a four-bedroom house or a business's palletized inventory with room to walk the aisle. Because every unit is indoors, you load through wide, well-lit corridors with free moving carts — no weather, no gravel, no guesswork.

There are no drive-up or vehicle spaces at Fox Rd — every unit is inside the building, which is what keeps all 927 of them climate-controlled. If you're storing a car, boat, or RV, you'll need a dedicated vehicle storage facility; for everything else, from a few boxes to a four-bedroom home, Fox Rd has the size.

Businesses use Fox Rd the same way households do, just on a schedule: a 10x10 for archived records and seasonal signage, a 10x20 for e-commerce overflow, a 10x30 for palletized stock that needs to stay dry and cool between deliveries. Students at NC State, Meredith, or Wake Tech can rent a 5x5 or 5x10 in May and close it out in August on the same month-to-month terms — no long lease, no penalty for leaving when the semester calls you back.

How do I get to 7505 Fox Rd in Raleigh?

The facility is on Fox Rd in northeast Raleigh, in the corridor between US-1 (Capital Boulevard) and I-540 (Northern Wake Expressway). From I-540, exit toward Capital Boulevard/US-1 and follow Fox Rd east; from Capital Boulevard, turn onto Fox Rd near the Triangle Town Center area. Nearby reference points include the Triangle Town Center retail corridor (about 2 miles) and Fox Road Elementary School. Plan your first visit during office hours so the team can hand you your entry code, walk you to your unit, and point out the closest entrance to park beside — with a building this size, knowing your door saves time on every future trip.

Which North Raleigh areas does Fox Rd serve?

The Fox Rd corridor and northeast Raleigh, including Wake Crossroads, Neuse, and the neighborhoods along Capital Boulevard and I-540, plus quick access from Wake Forest, Rolesville, and Knightdale for anyone commuting the US-1 corridor into the city. It's also the closest US Storage Centers facility for central North Raleigh — Millbrook, North Hills, Six Forks — and for Durham, Chapel Hill, and Research Triangle Park customers heading east on I-40 and I-540.

Why choose the Fox Rd facility?

Three reasons customers pick Fox Rd over anywhere else in Raleigh. Selection: with 927 units, the size you actually need is far more likely to be available here than at a smaller building — including hard-to-find 10x25 and 10x30 indoor climate-controlled spaces. Consistency: every square foot is climate-controlled, so you never trade protection for size. Simplicity: one building, keypad-controlled entry, wide interior corridors, moving carts, and 24/7 video recording — a clean, well-lit, access-controlled home for your belongings during a busy season of life. It's also a practical choice for businesses: consistent conditions for records and electronics, wide corridors for hand trucks, and enough inventory that scaling from a 10x10 to a 10x20 mid-lease is usually a same-week move, not a waitlist. And because Fox Rd is the only US Storage Centers facility in Raleigh, the local team's whole attention is on this one building — the same people who hand you your entry code on day one are the ones answering the phone six months later.

Why choose US Storage Centers?

A new chapter — a move, a merge, a downsize — usually brings people to us; what you store with us holds the moments of your life, and we treat it that way. Real, local people run this facility: you're a name, not a number. We're nationally trusted and personally run, privately owned since 1985. And it's easy, on your terms: month-to-month rentals, online move-ins, and a friendly team in the office six days a week.

Life's Moments. Stored Well.™

What Unit Sizes Are Available at Fox Rd?

Size	Best For
5x5	Boxes, seasonal décor
5x10 / 5x15	Studio contents, narrow furniture
10x5	One-bedroom overflow
10x10	1–2 bedroom apartment
10x15	2-bedroom home
10x20 / 10x23	3-bedroom home
10x25 / 10x30	4-bedroom home, business inventory

Current rates and unit availability appear in the live unit listings on this page.

Scale and consistency: 927 units, every one indoor and climate-controlled — the largest all-climate selection US Storage Centers offers in North Carolina. If your priority is protecting furniture, electronics, documents, or photos from Raleigh's humidity, this is the facility built for exactly that.

No — Fox Rd is fully indoor by design, which is what keeps every unit climate-controlled. US Storage Centers doesn't currently offer RV, boat, or vehicle parking in Raleigh, so a vehicle needs a dedicated vehicle storage facility; for household and business storage from 5x5 to 10x30, Fox Rd has the selection.

Climate-controlled units hold a consistent temperature and humidity range year-round. In Raleigh's humid subtropical climate, that protects wood furniture from warping, electronics from moisture, and paper, photos, and fabric from mold and fading. Every unit at Fox Rd is climate-controlled.

Unit access is daily from 6:00am to 9:00pm, and the office is staffed Monday through Saturday. Double-check the schedule on this page before a late visit.

Reserve or complete your rental online in minutes from the live unit listings on this page, or visit the office and the local team will match you to the right size. Rentals are month-to-month; no credit card is required to rent (checks, Visa, and Mastercard accepted).

Twelve variants from 5x5 to 10x30, including 272 10x10 units — the most popular size for one- to two-bedroom moves — and large 10x25/10x30 spaces that hold a four-bedroom home. The live listings on this page show exactly which sizes are available today.

Hello Ketia, thank you for your review!

Had to edit this review as by my surprise it is now managed by US Storage. Upon this information, I called to get some clarification and make sure my property was in fact still there. Thankfully Angela who is the manager at the location now was beyond AMAZING. She calmed my nerves and explained nothing had changed in regards to the storage itself, just management. She was patient, kind and was able to calm my worries. So Angela, I thank you for your time, your patience and your kindness. Had a wonderful experience at this location. Whitney was amazing at helping me pick a unit. She was kind , courteous and lovely. Would definitely recommend this location for your storage needs.

2nd REVIEW——— I want to say something about the young lady working at the Public Storage on 7505. While we were there this morning, we witnessed her being verbally attacked by two individuals who clearly were not listening to what she was trying to explain. The way they spoke to her was violent, rude, and completely unacceptable. Young people today really need to learn how to speak respectfully to adults and especially to someone who is simply doing her job. No one deserves to be treated that way, and it was upsetting to witness. The young lady in the office handled the situation with professionalism, patience, and kindness even while being spoken to so disrespectfully. She is always sweet, helpful, and clearly works very hard to keep things running smoothly. Employees like her deserve appreciation, not hostility. Public Storage is lucky to have someone like her representing their property.

Thank you for sharing your heartfelt feedback, Brittany. We're grateful for your support and praise of our team’s professionalism and resilience at Public Storage. We'll make sure to pass along your appreciation to her and the rest of our team.

Hi Brayan, thank you for your review! We will be sure to pass along the kind feedback to the Public Storage team.

I would give five stars about the cleanliness of the facility as well as the friendliness of the people inside. I would give only one star to public storage The corporation. The phone system absolutely sucks and you cannot get a live person on the phone. Nothing against the branch manager at this location, but the minute I find another storage company. I am moving out.

Ed, we strive for 100% satisfaction, and we regret to find out that this was not the case.

Trisa was funny and nice renting us our unit

Thank you for stopping by to leave a wonderful review for Public Storage!

I spoke with Whitney at the Public Storage – 7505 location, and she was absolutely amazing. My storage rate had increased, so I called to understand why. Whitney explained that the unit was under evaluation, which caused the increase, and she was able to help me cancel the upcharge and lower my rate for the next three months. I also asked about downsizing, she took the time to discuss downsizing options with me and gave great advice. She recommended that I come into the office toward the end of the month so I can avoid paying for overlapping units and review pricing for smaller storage options. She was quick, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful. The entire experience was smooth and stress-free. Thank you, Whitney, for the excellent customer service!

I found that the public storage located in Fox Road was conveniently located for my needs as well as clean and well managed when I arrived. I was extremely impressed with the handling of assisting me in getting a unit of which I did that very day. The pricing is very reasonable and of course the specials made it even better. I was able to get assistance from the inside property manager Whitney and she was extremely helpful, very kind and friendly in assisting me with all my needs. I would highly recommend public storage, especially the one on Fox Road to do your future business with when it needs to store any items because they are well equipped with every size.

Let me tell you about Angela. She is the reason your customers don't mind paying each month. She had such a positive energy that you couldn't help but be comfortable with her. I drove to the wrong storage and she went out of her way to help me anyway. I was having a frazzled morning before that. I didn't go there by accident. It was meant. Put her in charge of some stores or something. She'll make you money. Thank you, Angela!❤️

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Outstanding Service from Whitney! My wife and I had the pleasure of being assisted by Whitney today at Public Storage on Fox Road, and let me just say—she was amazing, to say the least. Amidst a busy day with a steady stream of customers, Whitney remained calm, professional, and incredibly helpful. She was knowledgeable, attentive, and handled everything with speed and care. Even in the chaos, she made us feel like a priority. It's rare to find someone who not only does their job well but also goes above and beyond with genuine enthusiasm. Whitney is truly an A+ employee, and we’re grateful for her service. I am looking forward to continuing our business at this location, especially knowing we’re in such capable hands. Thank you, Whitney!

Marisa, thank you for your positive review of Public Storage!

Went today to check out the facilities I booked online to see where and how my storage unit was situated before I have my items delivered. The online hours are incorrect, as the office hours start at 9:30, but Whitney was kind enough to answer questions for me before I checked out my space and where it was located. Afterwards, I had more questions and she was kind enough to help out in any capacity needed. My only issues, not with Whitney, but the online site for reserving the storage unit as I thought I was getting the forst month free and that didn't happen and although she couldn't promise to rectify the situation, she would contact her supervisors, of which 1 was on vacation, and would do so as soon as possible. The facilities are clean and nicely situated with secure bldgs.

Marilyn, thank you for your 4-star review. We're so pleased that you're happy with your storage rental, and we appreciate your honest feedback on anything that didn't align with your expectations. It's also great to hear that you found our facility well maintained. Thanks again.
