Featured Colorado Storage Facilities
Highly rated storage across Colorado's Front Range—from climate-controlled indoor units in Littleton to drive-up, RV, and boat storage in Castle Rock and Fort Collins.
Why Store in Colorado?
Coloradans move for room to grow and room to play — and along the Front Range, both are in high demand. This stretch of Colorado keeps filling up faster than it can spread out, and our five facilities sit right in the path of that growth, ready when you need the space.
A Front Range filling up fast
Colorado passed six million residents in 2025, and roughly 5.3 million of them call the Front Range corridor home — the same corridor our five facilities serve. Colorado remains one of the five most-moved-to states in the country, and the newcomers land right where we operate. When a region grows this fast, a little extra space close to home goes a long way.
Fast-growing towns, growing needs
Castle Rock grew more than 50 percent between 2010 and 2020 and hasn't slowed down — it's still among Colorado's fastest-growing cities. Up north, Fort Collins pairs a population of 171,000 with Colorado State University's roughly 34,000 students and a rental market where nearly half of households rent. More people, more moves, more moments when you need somewhere to put what won't fit.
One need, many reasons
Whether you're settling into a new place, downsizing to something simpler, riding out a semester turnaround, or making room for a growing business, it all comes down to the same thing — a clean, accessible space close to home, on terms that flex with your life.
Why Choose US Storage Centers?
Every Colorado facility is run by real local people who know the area and know your name — because here, you're a person, not a number. We're big enough to be nationally trusted and small enough to stay personal: privately owned and family-run since 1985. Storing with us gives back, too — a portion of what we do supports Kure It cancer research, so your space helps fund a cure. And when it comes to renting, we keep it refreshingly simple: month-to-month terms, no long commitments, sign up online or stop by the office. However life unfolds, we're here to help you hold onto what matters.

Frequently Asked Questions: Colorado Self Storage
How much does self storage cost in Colorado?
At US Storage Centers in Colorado, monthly rates currently run from about $21 for a 5×5 unit to around $600 for a 10×30, depending on city, floor, and unit type. RV and vehicle parking starts around $49 per month in Fort Collins.
Where are US Storage Centers locations in Colorado?
Five facilities in three cities: two in Littleton (Youngfield Court at C-470 & Bowles, and West Grand Avenue near Southwest Plaza), one in Castle Rock on Regent Street off I-25, and two in Fort Collins (East Lincoln Avenue near Old Town, and Midpoint Drive off I-25).
Is climate-controlled storage available in Colorado?
Yes — in Littleton and Castle Rock. Our Littleton Youngfield Court facility carries the largest climate-controlled selection, and Castle Rock offers climate-controlled indoor units alongside drive-up storage. Our Fort Collins facilities are drive-up and RV focused and do not offer climate control.
Can I store an RV or boat in Colorado?
Yes. Castle Rock has 24 RV parking spaces, and our two Fort Collins facilities have roughly 100 combined, with spaces for rigs up to 30 feet starting around $49 per month. Littleton parking is limited, so call that office first.
Do I need climate control for Colorado's weather?
For long-term storage of wood furniture, electronics, photographs, documents, or instruments, it's often worth it. Colorado swings from hot, dry summers to snowy winters — sometimes in the same week — and climate-controlled units help maintain a more consistent indoor environment.
How do rentals work?
Month-to-month, with no long-term commitment. You can rent or hold a unit online in minutes, or stop by any office and rent in person. Moving carts, boxes, and packing supplies are available on site.
